Hoka Mafate Speed X Yellow
Yellow is visible at every distance — on a ridgeline, in a race photograph, in the memory of a competitor you passed on a technical ascent. The Hoka Mafate Speed X Yellow applies that visibility to Hoka's most serious ultra-trail platform.
The Mafate Speed X brings carbon plate propulsion to ultra-trail distance — pairing the plate with enough CMEVA cushioning to protect legs across 50K+ of mountain terrain.
CMEVA + Carbon Plate + Vibram Megagrip: Ultra-Trail Racing Technology
The Mafate Speed X combines CMEVA max-cushion foam with a carbon fiber plate — providing the leg protection needed over ultra-trail distances with propulsion efficiency on long climbs. Vibram Megagrip outsole is the trail running industry's most reliable technical terrain traction system, performing on wet rock, loose trail, and mixed mountain surfaces equally.
Protective mesh upper: debris-resistant construction. Vibram Megagrip outsole. 295 g. 4 mm drop. 34 mm heel stack. The carbon plate ultra-trail shoe.
Who it's for
For ultra-trail competitors who need 50K+ capable footwear. Best for mountain races where cushioning and grip are equally critical.
